Tickets
Tickets will be released in stages:

1st batch of FREE tickets will be released on Friday 30th June @ 08:30

2nd batch of FREE tickets will be released later in Sunday 23rd July @20:00

There is also a Eventbrite waiting list, but that is for getting a returned ticket. If you are on the waiting list it would still be sensible to try and get a ticket from the above batched releases.

Donations
BSides Manchester is free to attend, run under a Community Interest Company (CIC) and is a not for profit company and event. It is run and organised by volunteers who give up their own time for free. Obviously the event is not free to put on, there are many cost, such as the venue, refreshments, banners, website, IT, accounts, marketing, etc, and we fund this through the support and sponsorship we get from the amazing companies who sponsor BSides Manchester each (check them all out here).
The amount of tickets we can release, the swag we can give away, the free food and drink available, and the after party bar tab is linked to the amount of income (mainly sponsorship) we receive.
