Titan is the name for the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit and is a collaboration between the six police forces in Cumbria, Cheshire, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales to tackle serious organised crime that crosses county borders in the region. The Cyber Crime Unit tackles Cyber Crime and Cyber-attacks, specialising in tracking down those engaged in large-scale computer fraud, identity theft as well as tackling the most serious computer hacking investigations. They also raise awareness to business, education and the general public of the potential risk and impact of Cybercrime along with simple steps which can be taken to prevent becoming a victim..
Training 2000 has been established for over 50 years, we are a large Group Training Association offering business solutions, commercial courses and Apprenticeship programmes across multiple industry sectors. Last year we launched our Level 4 Cyber Security Apprenticeship, which has proved to be very successful. In 2017, Training 2000 became part of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) meaning that our apprentices have a direct route to a Degree Apprenticeship.
